Moldova and Bulgaria will continue to support the Ukrainian government, even now that the people in the both countries have elected new presidents – Igor Dodon and Rumen Radev, both of which seem to have pro-Russian views. The active leaders of the states Nicolae Timofti and Rosen Plevneliev said this at a meeting with Stepan Kubiv, Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister. The meeting took place in Chisinau.
‘Presidents Timofti and Plevneliev assured me that Ukraine can always count on the friendly stance of their respective countries. They sent their best wishes to our leaders of the state and expressed support in our work on the important reformist initiatives,’ Kubiv posted at Facebook, adding that the meeting was totally spontaneous and unplanned.
