U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov met this afternoon, as the website of the Department of State informs

“They discussed the need to restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity and fully implement the Minsk agreements. The two also discussed the defeat of ISIS in Syria and the United States’ continued commitment to the Geneva talks as the best path toward a political solution to the conflict. Other topics included countering the threat posed by North Korea and the prospects for improving our bilateral relationship,” the statement reads.

At the end of October, Special Representative of the U.S. for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker yet again visited Ukraine. He held a meeting with President Petro Poroshenko and discussed a number of issues with Ukrainian MPs.

Mr. Volker also suggested that by the end of the year there will be a UN Security Council resolution on the peacekeeping mission in Donbas
