Rex Tillerson, the U.S. Secretary of the State might leave the office in the coming weeks; Mike Pompeo, the incumbent CIA director could replace him. The New York Times reported that, referring to a source in the U.S. presidential administration.
The outlet wrote that Tom Cotton, famous for his support of Donald Trump’s in the security sector could become the new director of the CIA.
'It was not immediately clear whether Mr. Trump has given final approval to the plan, but he has been said to have soured on Mr. Tillerson and in general is ready to make a change at the State Department,' the NY Times wrote.
