In London, three people were hospitalized after they were doused with an unknown "toxic substance". This is reported by BBC with reference to the police.
It is reported that three victims of 17, 22 and 27 years were found on Kingsland Street in Hackney in the north-east of London and taken to one of the hospitals.
The police have not yet told which substance was poured on the victims, but they specified that it is "toxic", not acidic.
We recall that on March 4, an ex-officer of the Russian intelligence Sergey Skripal was poisoned in the British city of Salisbury. Later, Prime Minister Theresa May stated that Russia was responsible for this, and the investigation confirmed the use of nerve gas in Salisbury, which is produced in Russia.
The United Kingdom expelled 23 Russian diplomats, the decision was supported by the United States, Canada, Ukraine and many European countries, which also announced the expulsion of Russians.
