The advisers of Theresa May initiated preparation for the possible hold of early parliamentary elections, The Sunday Times report.  

According to the outlet, the purpose of the elections is to save the Brexit negotiations and the office of prime minister for Theresa May. 

It is noted that the Conservative Party wants to build public support for Brexit by the start of elections, and also to take Teresa May from the vote of no confidence in the parliament.

As it was reported earlier, President of the European Council Donald Tusk claimed based on the results of an informal summit of the leaders of the EU countries that the plan suggested by Great Britain won’t work out. He is sure that the proposed structure of the economic interaction won’t work because it can undermine the united market. 

As is known, on June 23, 2016, the British voted for exiting the EU. 52 percent of the voters voted positively, 42 percent – against It was noted that Prime Minister of Great Britain Theresa May would take the negotiations on Brexit under her own control.
