President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said there is democracy in the Verkhovna Rada - for now. Zelensky noticed this in his video blog "Frankly with the President".

“It’s difficult for people in our faction, I understand them. Why is it difficult? Because there hasn't been such a party before. 254 different people. Of course, there are those who understand all the laws: leading economists, lawyers, but there are ordinary people, too. They need time to settle with this process. However, on the other hand, they show the attitude of a particular class and tell you where there are errors in certain laws, so they are representatives of different sectors of society, with different mentality, with different earnings. So for now, we have democracy,” Volodymyr Zelensky said.
