Chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform - For Life Party and MP of Ukraine Viktor Medvedchuk expressed his confidence that there was no epidemic that a person could not fight against. He stated this to journalists on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada.

"There is no need to panic here, we still need to force the authorities to self-organize, people have to organize themselves, we have to be firmly convinced that there is no epidemic that a person cannot overcome. And despite the fact that we are not ready for it, today we need to rebuild, we need to move our forces, we need to put professionals in charge so that we can defeat this coronavirus. If the authorities act this way and even if they do not, and people will be ready for it, I think we all will definitely deal with it,” the Ukrainian MP stated.

Medvedchuk added that confidence was a key factor.

"We just need to be confident in ourselves, in our abilities and in the fact that we can do it. And if each of us, or at least every other will realize that we can do it, we will definitely do it," he emphasized.

As we reported earlier, Opposition Platform - For Life Party developed an anti-crisis plan for combating coronavirus, overcoming pandemic consequences.
