Ukraine has no reasons for early parliamentary elections, - Deputy Speaker of Parliament

There are no grounds for announcing early parliamentary elections. Deputy Chairwoman of the Verkhovna Rada Oksana Syroyid stated this, as Interfax reported.

“I do not see the reasons for announcing early parliamentary elections,” Syroyid stated.

According to the report, that such elections are announced when the parliament does not work.

Deputy Speaker has emphasized that if the parliament is not able to make decisions, this will be a reason to appoint an early election.

As we reported earlier, President-Elect Volodymyr Zelensky recorded a message to the parliament, where he called on the MPs to appoint the date of the inauguration on May 19 in order to cease the staff activity of the current President Petro Poroshenko.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko respects the choice of Ukrainians and the positions of the highest legislative body. He will accept any date of inauguration, which the Verkhovna Rada will appoint.
