The US President Administration referred materials to mass media, which became the ground for the beginning of the investigation of the Russian interfere in the US Presidential elections in 2016. The New York Times reports.
It is about the top-secret documents, in particular, the FBI request on the organization of spy on Carter Page, the ex-Foreign-Policy Adviser of the US President within the letter of the law on surveillance of foreign intelligence. The Documents are dated October of 2016.
‘The F.B.I. believes Page has been the subject of targeted recruitment by the Russian government,’ the newspaper emphasizes.
According to the authors of the request, Page allegedly established relations with the Russian officials including the officers of the Russian intelligence and conspired with the Russian government.

Reportedly, earlier, Carter Page, the ex-Foreign-Policy Adviser of the US President Donald Trump refuted any relations with the Russian representatives. Also, he claimed that he wasn’t going to disservice the campaign of Hillary Clinton. Page explained that he met with Serhii Kysliak, the Russian Ambassador in the US during the national convention of Republican. According to him, during the meeting, he greeted and exchanged business cards with the Ambassador.
