There are very strict requirements for the safety of nuclear facilities, so there is a scanty probability of terrorist attacks on such objects. This was stated by Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn in his interview to "RIA Novosti".

Earlier Petro Poroshenko expressed his concern about nuclear weapons possible deployment in Crimea

"In Ukraine we go through regular tests. We have 30-km and 10-km special zones. There are very strict safety requirements, and furthermore, after the outbreak of hostilities in the east, they were tightened by the Government of Ukraine. We spend additional resources for implementing and controlling these requirements and for physical protection of nuclear stations. It’s a scanty probability that the terrorist attacks may be performed on such objects”, - said Volodymyr Demchyshyn.
