At least 128 people became victims of a bomb explosion at a campaign rally in Balōchistān, a Pakistani province, in south-we part of the country, more than 200 were injured, as Dawn news reports, referring to the Internal Minister of the province.
The terrorist group ISIL took responsibility for the explosion.
As the mass media note, Awami Siraj Raisani, one of the candidates in the parliamentary elections, was the main aim of the terrorist attack.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but according to Dawn news, he passed away.
It is the second attack at the election rallies in Pakistan over a day.
Earlier, it was reported that an explosion occurred at a rally in Bannu. Then, four people died as a result, 20 more were injured.
The parliamentary elections in Pakistan will take place on July 25.
