A lot of American celebrities supported Hillary Clinton and now they are upset

We already wrote about the fact that Hillary Clinton had a whole army of fans among American celebrities. It would seem that such support of public should help the Democratic candidate win the hearts of Americans. But, it did not work, and Trump won instead. We collected the reaction of US celebrities on this event.

TV host Ellen DeGeneres expressed her support for Clinton regardless of the results.


Lady Gaga burst into tears in her car after she knew Trump won the election. "He basically separated us, let's take care of each other now." - she wrote in Instagram and posted photo with a banner " Love Trumps Hate”.


One of the most active Clinton fans, singer Katy Perry urged Americans not to cry and move on. "We are a nation that will not allow hatred to prevail" - she wrote.

Pop diva Cher, who has never been shy in expressions towards Trump, said he would remain "limited vindictive coward", following all her posts in Twitter with offensive emojis.

Snoop Dogg posted a meme in Instagram saying that he “does not understand what is going on”.


Game of Trones star Sophie Turner also does not believe that such thing could happen for real.

Kristen Bell claims that she wants to “puke” from Trump’s victory and asks whether anybody else has the same symptoms.

Rihanna posted Trump’s quote from 1998 where he calls Republicans the most stupid voters.


Madonna wrote on Instagram “We never give up”.


On the opposite, there is celebration on the Trump’s side. A happy owner of the Russian passport Steven Seagal is excited more than ever.

Stephen Baldwin was with Trump till the end and is happy too.

Earlier, world leaders and politicians started to congratulate Trump on his election as the US president.
