On June 9-11, Estonian capital city of Tallinn will host the Hunt 2017 exercise, where multi-national forces will be improving their skills in joint defense of sea ports. ERR web portal reported that on June 8.
The drill involves Estonian Armed Forces, U.S. National Guard, units of territorial defense of Denmark, Lithuania and Latvia, as well as Finnish volunteers. The Hunt 2017 will be taking place in several locations – the naval base of Tallinn, Pakri peninsula and Naissaar island.
The troops will practice in naval monitoring, early warning of defense forces, guarding infrastructure objects and NATO vessels based in the southern part of the Gulf of Finland.
