Taliban condemn US drone strike in Kabul

On Sunday, the Taliban condemned a US drone strike against a suspected ISIS-K suicide bomber in Kabul. Bilal Kareemi, a Taliban spokesperson, said this in a comment to CNN.

According to Bilal Kareemi, the United States violated Afghanistan's sovereignty. 

He also told CNN that it was "not right to conduct operations on others' soil" and that the US should have informed the Taliban.

"Whenever the US conducts such operations, we condemn them," Kareemi said.

US Central Command said earlier that said the airstrike on a vehicle in Kabul targeted an “an imminent ISIS-K threat to Hamid Karzai International Airport.” 

As we reported earlier, two explosions occurred near the Airport of Kabul. One of the explosions occurred among the crowd of Afghan people, who tried to get into the territory of the airport. The suicide attacker committed the terrorist action.

According to U.S. Joe Biden, the terrorist act in Kabul was organized by the ISIS. The U.S. prepares the response to the terrorists.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed condolences to the families of all decease as the result of the terrorist acts in Kabul. The leaders of some states and governments condemned the terrorist actions in Kabul.
