U.S. strategic adviser on defense industry reform Donald Winter will come to Ukraine to meet with the owner of FireFly company Maxym Polyakov.
According to the Obozrevatel, citing Apostrophe agency, Winter plans to hold a series of meetings with the new military-political leadership of the country in September.
The purpose of his travel is a visit to the Firefly American-Ukrainian aerospace company. It's owner is a businessman Max Polyakov, who is currently working on a "T" secret project. It is noted that this project should strengthen the defense capabilities of Ukraine. It is also extremely important for the USA, since both Winter and U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper are working on it.
The article notes that the National Security and Defense Council Secretary Olexandr Danyliyk has already provided the American guest with full access to information on Ukrainian defense issues. Winter already oversees the purchase of American weapons by Ukraine and periodically sends assistants to Kyiv to collect information about the country's needs.
As we previously reported, in late August - early September Warsaw will host a meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump, during which a number of documents will be signed.
