Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and Ambassadors of the NATO countries in Brussels plan to visit Ukraine in July. Oleksandr Vinnikov the Chief of the NATO Liaison Office in Ukraine reported this during the briefing on May 24. Interfax-Ukraine wrote this.
‘In line with the policy NATO always confirms the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The visit of the North Atlantic Council will be an affirmation of this. The Ambassadors of the NATO countries in Brussels and the Secretary General of Alliance will come to Ukraine on 9-10 July to mark the 20 years anniversary of the partnership between NATO and Ukraine’, Vinnikov said.
Moreover, he added that NATO supports Ukraine from the beginning of Russian aggression. Particularly, the Alliance increased its support for the series of programs, including the trust funds and improvement of skills and potential.
The failure of Russia to comply the Minsk Agreements will be discussed on May, 25 during the NATO summit in Brussels on May 25.
