Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko arrived for an interview at the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) on January 23. A message on his Facebook page says so.
Supporters of the ex-Ukrainian state leader gathered next to the building of the DBR to show their solidarity. Reporter Andriy Pavlovsky also added that two meetings are taking place there. "One against Zerlensky, the other one against Poroshenko. Interestingly, this is taking place on the day on the actual day when Poroshenko is being interrogated," he wrote.
The fifth President of Ukraine is being interviewed in the case of possible state treason during the signature of Minsk deal in 2015.
On January 21, Poroshenko did not show up at the DBR, though the agency repeatedly summoned him. Then, investigator Oleg Koretsky claimed that the reconduction would be allowed in order to get the testimony.
