No one contacted the State Bureau of Investigation (SBU) about checking the statements of the People's Deputy Andrew Derkach on the US Embassy’s influence on officials of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). It was stated during a press conference held by SBU’s Director Roman Truba on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.

Journalists asked Truba whether he had received a request to investigate the information voiced by Derkach.

"There has been no appeal to the SBU for an assessment of any of the facts you have just mentioned. Unfortunately, I cannot give a complete answer to your question," he said.
