From the State Budget for 2021, at least $ 9 billion will be allocated for national security and defense. This was written on the website of the President of Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky signed decree No. 486/2020, which enforces the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of November 5, 2020 "On proposals to the draft law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021 " on articles related to ensuring national security and defense of Ukraine".

"To put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of November 5, 2020" On proposals to the draft law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021" on articles related to ensuring the national security and defense of Ukraine," the decree says.

It is noted that control over the implementation of the NSDC decision will be entrusted to the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov.

As we reported earlier,  the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has improved the inflation rate forecast until the end of this year - from 4.7 to 4.1 percent. However, the next year's rate forecast has worsened - from 5.5. to 6.5 percent.
