Spanish secondary schools are getting the textbooks, in which Crimea is mistakenly identified as Russian peninsula. Ukraine's embassy in Spain posted that on Facebook.

"Due to the information that the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain has found out, Ambassador Serhiy Pohoreltsev urgently turned to Pillar Allegria, Spain's Minister for Education and Professional Training", reads the message.

The Embassy cites a rude mistake that was allowed in the Social Sciences textbook for 6th grade of secondary school. The textbook issued by Edelvives publishing house depicts Crimean peninsula as part of the Russian Federation.
