The national court chamber of Spain ruled to extend the detention term for the eight Catalonian ex-ministers. La Vanguardia reported this on November 9.

Judge Carmen Lamela refused to grant motion to the appeal filed by the defendants, leaving the restriction measure as it was. Thus, the ex-ministers remain in custody without the right for a bailout. The judge’s conclusion says that there are no grounds for choosing different restriction measure; besides, they can leave the country - just like their leader Carles Puigdemont.
