Pedro Sanchez agreed to take part in events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has held a telephone conversation with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. According to Zelensky's invitation, Sanchez may visit Ukraine in August this year. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office.

Sanchez agreed to take part in events marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.

"Pedro Sanchez has expressed readiness to visit our country. It should be noted that his visit may be the first visit of the Prime Minister of Spain to Ukraine in 30 years," the statement said.

As we reported earlier, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, the post office of Hungary's embassy in Ukraine received e-mails that contained various threats regarding the visit of the country's Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó to Ukraine on January 27.

In an e-mail, which was published by the Foreign Minister, unknown individuals demanded to cancel Szijjártó’s visit, otherwise, they would start "acting extremely harshly."
