South Korea may provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in the form of medical equipment. The issue was discussed today by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a telephone conversation with South Korean President Moon Jae In, the President’s Office reports.

The main topic of the conversation was the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Zelensky thanked the Korean President for the prompt execution of the order to create tests for the detection of coronavirus and their delivery to Ukraine.

"They also discussed the provision of humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the form of medical equipment," the statement said.

As we reported earlier, Ukraine will receive extra 320,000 pills for the fight against coronavirus.

The drug with hydroxychloroquine will be enough for the treatment of 22,000 people.

“This drug is prescribed in the national protocol of treatment of the patients with COVID-19 and it is used for the patients with the heavy disease and only at the hospital, under the control of the doctors and with the written agreement of the patients,” the message said.
