This week, members of SOCAR top management visited Kyiv and negotiated with biggest counteragents of Proton Energy Group S.A., which redistributed the fuel of Rosneft in Ukraine until April. The new operator does not rule out the possibility of supplies already in May, claiming it has a quota of more than 100,000 tons of diesel fuel and 12,000 tons of liquefied gas. However, the market members believe the process will launch in June.
In April, Swiss trader Proton Energy Group S.A. ceased to supply oil products to Ukraine. During that month, the country did not receive the diesel fuel and liquefied gas from Rosneft plants.
