The so-called Donetsk People’s Republic issued stamps with a portrait of Stalin. DAN news agency reported this.
A stamp with Joseph Stalin was released as part of the “Great People” series, and the date it was adopted is timed to his birthday.
In addition, the ‘DPR’ post office issued a themed envelope and created a postmark with a portrait of Stalin.
The nominal value of the stamp, issued in 16,000 copies, amounted to 39 rubles ($0,6).
In 2015, the Verkhovna Rada banned the propaganda of communist and Nazi totalitarian regimes by adopting the relevant law on de-communization.
