Slovenian President to visit Ukraine on May 11

Borut Pahor, the President of Slovenia will pay a working visit to Ukraine on May 11 at the invitation of Petro Poroshenko as the presidential press service reported.

‘The leaders of two states will discuss the joint efforts that aim to confront Russia’s aggression and exchange the opinions on the wide range of the current issues of the bilateral and international cooperation, including the support of further European and Euroatlantic integration of Ukraine by Slovenia’, the message said.

Also, it is planned to sign a number of bilateral documents.

It is noted that Pahor’s visit to Ukraine will become the first after his reelection at the post of Slovenian president.

Last time Pahor visited Ukraine during his first presidential term in February 2017. Then Poroshenko discussed the issues of the fulfillment of the Minsk Agreements and maintain the sanctions against Russia with Pahor.
