Slovakia expelled three employees of the Embassy of Russia due to the suspicion in the espionage in the territory of the country under diplomatic cover, as Dennik reported.

The special services of Slovakia reported that the activity of these Russians contradicted the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Moreover, they are accused of improper use of Slovakian visas in the consulate of Slovakia in Saint Petersburg. Due to it, the serious crime was committed in the territory of another NATO and EU state-member.

“Slovakia expelled three Russian diplomats in retaliation for abuse of our visas during the murder of Chechen asylum-seeker in Berlin,” the message said.
