Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that the situation with Covid-19 in Ukraine remained tense due to the overall number of infected people. He announced this during a briefing.

Stepanov noted that 96,936 cases of Covid-19 infection had been detected in Ukraine the previous week. At the same time, the week before, 90,000 people were diagnosed with the disease.

"The situation remains quite tense. The number of patients is increasing, and as a result, the overall number of people taken to our hospitals is growing," he stated.

The official also believes that the introduction of a total lockdown could reduce the number of coronavirus cases in Ukraine to zero.

As we reported earlier, today, on November 30, Germany plans to transfer 20 Life Base III artificial lung ventilation devices to the Ukrainian military.

“Germany continues to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine: on November 30, 20 Life Base III ventilators and other medical devices will be handed over to our military,” Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk wrote.
