The current situation in the Sea of Azov will be one of the key issues, which Ukraine is to promote during the session of UN General Assembly. Pavlo Klimkin, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine said this during the briefing on Friday.

'As for the UN General Assembly, this (the situation in the Sea of Azov, - 112 International) will be one of the major issues that we promote', Klimkin said.

The minister added that at this point, there's an ongoing procedure of the international arbitrary court, which looks into the violation of Ukraine's rights in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, and due to the illegal construction of the bridge over Kerch Strait.

As we reported earlier, the 73rd session of UNGA will be running through October 1; President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is expected to address the Assembly on September 26.
