The situation in the downtown of Kyiv is under control as the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported at Facebook.
Police still demand from the participant of the protest not to block the movement at Hrushevsky Street and to transfer to the Mariinsky Park.
Earlier the police borders were relocated from the intersection of Sadova and Hrushevsky Streets to the intersection with Shovkovychna Street. And the movement of the cars is partially restored at Hrushevsky Street and completely at Sadova and Shovkovychna Street.
The protests took place near the building of the Verkhovna Rada four days. Former governor of Odesa region and leader of 'Rukh Novukh Syl' Mikheil Saakashvili and his allies began to hold the protest on October 17. The organizers and the protesters demand from the parliament to cancel the MP immunity, change the election legislation and create the Anti-corruption court. Five people were injured during the protest.
The protests gathered some 200 people, and weren’t entirely calm, as, on the night of October 17, some of the protesters looted shields belonging to the National Guard.
