Siemens company denied the information about selling exhaust turbines to the Russia-annexed Crimea; the respective message may be seen at the company’s website.
‘We have no reason to believe that the gas turbines mentioned in the news articles are destined for Crimea,’ the message says.
The German enterprise also repudiated the information about making a deal with Russia’s Tekhnopromeksport company, which foresaw joint building of power plants in Crimea.
‘Siemens respects the decisions regarding sanctions and will, of course, abide by the current sanction provisions,’ reads the statement.
Earlier today, the media reported that Russia brought two Siemens-made turbines for power plants to the occupied Crimea.
