Prime Minister Denys Shmygal arrived in Turkey on a working visit. On Sunday, November 29, the plane with the head of the Ukrainian government landed at the Istanbul airport, Ukrinform reported.

It is reported that Shmygal's visit will last two days - it starts in Istanbul and tomorrow will continue in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

"Today the Prime Minister will meet with the Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Varank, representatives of Turkish business. Tomorrow in Ankara, Shmygal will meet with the leadership of the Republic of Turkey," the statement said.

On the trip, the head of government is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Strategic Industries Oleg Urusky, Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Krikliy, First Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova and Deputy Minister of Development, Economy, Trade and Agriculture Taras Kachka.

In October this year, President Volodymyr Zelensky was on a working visit to Turkey. In Istanbul, Zelensky and Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in a closed tete-a-tete format.
