Investigators in the case of the murder of reporter Pavlo Sheremet prepared a petition to the Office of Prosecutor General; in it, they ask the authority to prolong the pre-trial investigation for another four months, until June 2020. Serhiy Zuzuak, the prosecutor in the case reported that as Hromadske wrote.

"Extra investigation actions are necessary yet so as to find the truth in this case; that includes experiments, interrogations, etc." Zuzak said.

The investigators believe it is too soon to make any decisions on sending the indictment to the court or closing the case.

The three suspects have already been noticed of the investigators' intentions. The defense team has five days to express objections and file the appeal to Deputy Prosecutor General. He is supposed to consider the document within three days and to decide whether the term should be extended or not.
