Kyiv Appeal Court changed the restriction measure for suspect Yulia Kuzmenko. She is released from custody but transferred to round-the-clock house arrest. This is mentioned on the Facebook page named Free Dr Kuzmenko.
The court convened for a session on August 11, 11.30 a.m. Kyiv time. This is the third time that the jury tried to hold the session after the prosecution team failed to show up, which is why the defense team of Kuzmenko filed the appeal.
The three judges, Yuria Slyva, Tetyana Frych, and Volodymyr Melnyk ruled to release the suspect from custody.
Kuzmenko is considered one of the suspects in the murder of reporter Pavlo Sheremet that occurred in 2016. She's not in detention anymore but cannot leave her residence in Hnidyn village (Kyiv region) or contact those involved in this case. She is also obliged to show up when summoned by law enforcement agencies.

Yulia Kuzmenko is not the only suspect in the murder. Military nurse Yana Dugar and musician Andriy Antonenko are the other two suspects; Antonenko, also known by the alias Riffmaster is now in custody.
