After the meeting of the faction, Ukraine's MP from the ruling Servant of the People faction Mykhailo Radutsky said that the faction supported the proposal and voted to approve Shmygal’s candidacy for the post of the Prime Minister.

Ukraine's MP Oleksandr Dubinsky added that the faction also discussed a number of staff changes in the government. However, Radutsky noted that officially the Servant of the People has only approved Shmygal's candidacy.

"Shmygal is the only official candidate," Mykhailo Radutsky said.

Also, Dmytro Razumkov received a letter of resignation by current Ukraine's Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk. During the meeting of the ruling Servant of the People faction, which is still underway, the head of Ukraine's parliament Dmytro Razumkov said that the Prime Minister was asking for his dismissal from his post.

Besides, Oleksiy Honcharuk asked the District Administrative Court of Kyiv to forbid Dmytro Razumkov, the Parliamentary Speaker to consider his resignation letter

Honcharuk's request also regards the opportunity to consider the resignation of any of the ministers during the session slated for March 4.

Currently, the court is deciding what kind of legal ground could be used for actions to grant the motion.
