Servant of People party spent USD 4.5 million on election campaign

The pro-presidential political force that won the election spent more than the other parties

Central Election Committee of Ukraine published the financial records, revealing the sum that political parties spent during the election campaign. 

Servant of the People party, the pro-presidential political force (43.16 percent of votes) spent USD 4.5 million - more than the other parties.

Opposition Platform - For Life party (Viktor Medvedchuk, Vadym Rabinovych, Yuriy Boiko) spend USD 2.62 million.

Yulia Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) spent 3.48 million dollars; according to the parliamentary election results, it came third, with 8.18 percent of all votes.

Petro Poroshenko's European Solidarity spent almost four million dollars. This party came fourth with 8.10 percent of votes.

Holos (The Voice), led by rock musician Svyatoslav Vakarchuk spent 4.22 million U.S. dollars. The party got 5.82 percent of votes during the elections.

The parliamentary election in Ukraine took place in July 2019. The overall voters' turnout made 49.84 percent.
