Oleg Sentsov, Ukrainian filmmaker from the occupied Crimea who is on a hunger strike in the Russian colony since May 14. He is hanging between life and death. Natalia Kaplan, first cousin of Sentsov claimed this to Independent. 

Kaplan claimed that Sentsov is in a terminal state.

‘We don’t know how long he will last but we have been told that he is in a terminal state. It is a miracle that the strike lasts that long,’ the outlet quotes Kaplan. 

According to her, Sentsov agreed to have a two-three spoonful of nutrition mixture a day as a compromise but it is not enough considering his heart problems.

Oleg Sentsov, a filmmaker was detained in Crimea on May 11, 2014. He was accused of an organization of terrorist act, and also for a stage of weapons and explosives. The court sentenced Oleg to 20 years of the colony.  

On May 14, 2018, Sentsov declared a hunger strike with a requirement to release all Ukrainian political prisoners. He refused to file a pardon request.
