Selling land is not our national idea; it was born in the Soros Foundation as a result of external management introduced by Washington. MP Viktor Medvedchuk, the Chairman of the Political Council of the Opposition Platform - For Life Party, said that during his interview with 112 Ukraine, NewsOne, ZiK and Inter TV channels.

"Is this our national idea - land sale? Was it born here, in our bowels? No, no. It could have been born in the Soros Foundation, it could have been born as a result of external administration introduced by Washington, that is, some American international financial structures. It could have been born in the shape. And the shape is the land market," he said.

"Will it bring benefits for the country, the people, for the replenishment of country's budget? And who said it would bring us? We'd love to know, but we don’t know what it will bring. So maybe we need to find it out first, to set frameworks, to solve the issue with people on a referendum so that they gave their consent, and then prepare all the technical details, ensure the implementation of the procedure for all these sales so that the state, in the interests of people, benefits from this. And they need to make it quickly: allow, sell, and everything is fine," Ukraine's MP Medvedchuk said.
