President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky promised that the second stage of construction of the Holodomor memorial complex in Kyiv will be over by the 90th anniversary of Holodomor. He said so in a commentary for journalists during the Ukraine.30 forum.
The head of the state reiterated that next year, Ukraine is supposed to mark the 90th anniversary of the largest man-made famine in the history of this country.
"We're further and further from these tragic times. There are almost no living witnesses who survived the Holodomor. And today, we are responsible for keeping and passing this memory to our present and coming generations, for bringing the truthful information about our life, our history, and the Holodomor", he said.
