The Sea Breeze multinational military exercise, which began on June 28, has ended. All tasks assigned to the participants were completed in full, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Navy.

"Sea Breeze - 2021 has been completed! All assigned tasks have been completed in full," the message says.

During the exercise, Ukrainian naval units were assessed according to NATO standards. In particular, we are talking the patrol boats Slovyansk and Starobilsk, as well as the airborne assault company of the Marine Corps.

“Our ships have covered more than 12 thousand miles, divers have gone under water more than 330 times, pilots spent more than 80 hours in the air, and Ukrainian and American marines, the military of Moldova and Georgia have jointly practiced measures on land in three regions of Ukraine. This once again demonstrated our ability to carry out common tasks according to NATO standards, "said Rear Admiral Olexiy Neizhpapa.

All warships that took part in the exercises returned to the port of Odesa. Soon they will leave for Bulgaria.

On June 28, Odessa hosted the opening ceremony of the Ukrainian-American exercises Sea Breeze - 2021, which was attended by representatives of about 30 participating countries. This year, the Sea Breeze Series - 2021 exercise lasted from June 28 to July 10.

Note that last year the Sea Breeze exercises were held in Ukraine from June 20 to June 27.
