SBU offers to limit visit of Ukrainian officials to Russia

The lawyers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) prepared the draft law on limitation of visits to Russia for politicians, officials, representatives of the bodies of self-government and public figures. The press service of the SBU reported this.

'The criminal responsibility of the officials for visit to Russia with the aim to harm the national interests of Ukraine is provided by the project of the law', the message said.

It is offered to add the proper article to the Criminal Code.

'Talking into account the importance of the draft law for the Ukrainian society, the SBU is open for the professional offers on its development and subject the dtaft law to the public gaze before the submission to one of the subjects of the legislation initiative', the SBU emphasized.

Petro Poroshenko approved the decision of the NSDC on the implementation of the biometric control for entry to Ukraine for the foreigners, including the citizens of Russia since January 1, 2018. The decision came into force on September 2. Head of the SBU Vasyl Grytsak stood for the implementation of the criminal responsibility for the visit of the Russia by the Ukrainian politicians and public figures.
