Ukrainian side did not take the decision to ban the entry of the candidate for the presidency of France Marine Le Pen. This was announced by the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Apparatus Olexander Tkachuk, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The decision to ban the entry is not accepted due to all the information and opinions of institutions. We made a collective decision not to prohibit the entry to Ukraine for Marine Le Pen", said Tkachuk, responding to a question about whether the Ministry of Foreign Affairs agreed with the position of the Security Service of expediency of the entry ban.
Earlier, Le Pen has said that if she is elected as President of France, she will recognize Crimea as Russian territory. Also, a presidential candidate noted that the relations between Russia and France are important in a multipolar world and urged the need for the resolution of international crises.
Recall, the leader of the political party National Front and French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen believes that Russia's annexation of the Crimea "is not illegal."
