MP of Ukraine Nadiya Savchenko declared that Russians tried to recruit her during her stay at Russian prison. She stated this in the People. Hard talk. LIVE show on 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"They tried to recruit me, probably more in political way than in the military," she said.
Let us remind, Nadiya Savchenko spent almost two years in Russian prison for. Militants captured her prisoner in July 2014.
In March 2016 Russian court in Donetsk (Rostov region) sentenced Savchenko to 22 years in prison. International humanitarian organizations recognize Savchenko as political prisoner and president Petro Poroshenko awarded her the title of "Hero of Ukraine".
Also, MP does not rule out that her social movement "Runa" can acquire political power and go for the next parliamentary elections.
