Head of the Special Anti-Corruption Office Nazar Kholodnytsky pointed out when he intended to resign, as he said in the interview with Interfax-Ukraine. According to Kholodnytsky, two factors can provoke this.
“I feel full of power! I will resign only in two cases: if the desire appears, and frankly speaking, it appears periodically... or when the term of my powers expires and I will not decide to file my candidature once again,” Kholodnytsky responded to the question about the link between the new authority and his work at this position.
SAP Head added that the independence of the anti-corruption bodies manifests during the change of authority. “If the authority changes and so does the leadership of NABU and SAP changes, how can we speak about independence?” Kholodnytsky said.
We recall that Nazar Kholodnytsky has been working as the SAP Head since January 1, 2015. In addition, he also holds the post of Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky held the meeting with NABU Head Artem Sytnyk and SAPO Head Nazar Kholodnytsky.
Previously in Paris, Nazar Kholodnytsky met Trump’s lawyer Rudolph Giuliani and famous French lawyer Charles Pratt.
