Ukraine's State Guard Administration found a wire which was set from the "Okhmadet" building to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Bureau, as the sources in the law enforcement agencies informed Pravda. Later, SAP Head Nazar Kholodnytsky confirmed this information.
“The officers of State Guard Administration found a wire set from the Okhmadet building to SAP. A closed room was found at the end of the wire. The police opened it. There was a safe box with the cables,” the interlocutor of the news agency sais.
The source added that cyber police are working at the site.
In his turn, Nazar Kholodnytsky confirmed this information and hinted that NABU might be behind it.
“It’s true, I can say, that the investigation is underway,” he noted.
“There is Ford minibus near SAP with people inside, they don’t introduce themselves, they are shut down in the car. According to our information, the car plates are registered to NABU,” Kholodnytsky concluded and promised to appeal to SBU.
As we reported the SAP found a wire in the cabinet of Nazar Kholodnytsky. It was noted that the NABU and Prosecutor General's Office held the audition. It was noted that the NABU and GPU tapped the SAPO Head.
On March 22, Kholodnytsky confirmed that the wire was found in his cabinet. He noted that he does not know who is an owner of the device found on March 6 and waits for the response from the law enforcement bodies.
Yuriy Lutsenko, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine initiated Kholodnytsky’s resignation on March 30. Lutsenko appealed to the Qualifications and Disciplinary Commission of Public Prosecutors concerning Nazar Kholodnytsky, his Deputy and the Head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
Also, Kholodnytsky claimed that the Prosecutor General’s Office opened the criminal proceeding against him due to the disclosing of the details of the pretrial investigation, particularly, the Suprun case.
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau asks the Qualifications and Disciplinary Commission of Public Prosecutors to initiate the dismissal of Nazar Kholodnytsky, the deputy prosecutor general and head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) instead of the reprimand for the gross violation of the prosecutor’s ethics. It is pointed that on July 16, NABU Head Artem Sytnyk sent the objection of the conclusion of the Qualifications and Disciplinary Commission of Public Prosecutors toward Kholodnytsky.
