Former President of Georgia and leader of ‘Rukh Novykh Syl’ Mikheil Saakashvili settled in the tent among the protesters near the building of the Verkhovna Rada as the correspondent of Ukrainian News reported.
Saakashvili noted that he intends to stay in the tent among the protesters and took warm clothes for it.
Former President of Georgia arrived to the protesters at 17:30, held the short briefing and got to the tent.
Saakashvili also emphasized that he waits for leader of ‘Hromadianska Pozytsiia’ Anatoly Grytsenko and Lviv Major Andry Sadovy to discuss the further actions.
There is no access to his tent and the security is guarding near the tent-door. According to them, the working meeting takes place there.
The State Migration Service refused to provide Saakashvili with the political asylum in Ukraine on October 24.
A few political parties and non-governmental organization started the Ukrainian protest in the support of the large-scale political reform on October 17.
The demands of the protesters are to adopt the laws on the removal of the MP immunity, on the anti-corruption court and new election rules.
The participants of the protest set the tent camp at the traffic way of Hryshevsky Street and expressed the intention to stay there until the fulfillment of their demands.
Earlier it was reported that five people suffered near the Verkhovna Rada on the first day of the protest. Later, the video of the beating of staff sergeant of the police and soldier of the Donbas Conflict Igor Yatsenko was published on the internet.
