Mikheil Saakashvili travels to Ukraine by train "Peremyshl - Kyiv", the correspondent of 112.ua informs.

This decision was made in order to avoid problems at the Polish Krakowiec checkpoint.

Meanwhile, at the checkpoint the law enforcers reported that the point is working in the normal mode and removed the police cordon.

As previously reported, today around 10:00 the police at the Krakowiec checkpoint have stepped up security measures at the border crossing point on the Ukrainian-Polish border.

Also first skirmish began there because of the activist of Femen movement.

We recall, on August 16, Mikheil Saakashvili announced that he would return to Ukraine on September 10 through the checkpoint in Lviv region.

State Border Service asked citizens "not to use" the Krakowiec checkpoint on the day of Saakashvili's arrival.

The Office of the Procurator General of Ukraine confirmed the receipt of a request for the extradition of ex-governor of the Odesa region Mikheil Saakashvili, since in Georgia he acts as a defendant in 4 four criminal proceedings and on August 4, 2014 was put on the wanted list.

As reported, on July 26, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, by his decree, stripped Mikheil Saakashvili of Ukrainian citizenship. In response, the former head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili said that President Petro Poroshenko will not be able to deprive him of Ukrainian citizenship.
