Ryaboshapka appoints Kasko as First Deputy

Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka has appointed Vitaliy Kasko as the First Deputy. The press service of the General prosecutor's Office reported that.

"In accordance with the article No. 9 of the law of Ukraine about General Prosecutor's Office, Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka has signed a decree on appointment of Vitaliy Kasko as the First Deputy of the Prosecutor General," the post reads.

Kasko has graduated Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko in 1998. He started to work in Lviv Transport Prosecutor's office in the same year. 

During 1999-2002 he was working on posts from the Senior Investigator to the Chief of Investigations in Lviv Prosecutor's Office. He was practicing law during 2005-2007.

Vitaliy Kasko returned to the Prosecutor's Office as the Head of International Law Department where he was working until 2010. 

The First deputy was also practicing as a lawyer in 2010-2014.

Kasko was appointed once as the Deputy of the Prosecutor general in 2014. However, he resigned in 2016, the statement was granted on the same day.
