Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Tatiana Moskalkova has visited three border guards injured in Kerch Strait at the hospital at the remand center Matrosskaya Tishina prison, as she reported on Instagram.
According to Moskalkova, the state of Andriy Eider, Andry Artemenko, and Vasyl Soroka are fine.
“They are provided with the necessary medical service, they are provided by the medicines. The doctors consider the injuries sustained by the Ukrainians as moderate and the treatment already positively influences their health. There are no complaints about the conditions of the detention; they are detained in the medical unit, at the spacious, clean cells with big windows. The prisoners are provided with an enhanced diet. They can open the account and buy extra food. They have access to the extensive library and each of them chose the literature he likes. Each of them holds the electronic correspondence with relatives and close people,” she specified.
At the same time, Moskalkova promised to publish detailed information about the health of the Ukrainians later.
Earlier Viktoriya Khrystenko, counselor to Ukrainian Navy commander, reported that one of the men sustains heavy injuries to his legs, another one has them had his fingers amputated.
According to Khrystenko, the Ukrainian side does not possess information on the help provided to the sailors at the remand center.
Besides, Ukrainian diplomats succeeded to visit the three captured sailors of the Ukrainian Navy, who were wounded during the Russian Navy attack in the Kerch Strait.
