In addition to the attack on the Roma camp near Lviv, Russian special services planned to attack Jewish organizations in Lviv by the "hands" of Ukrainian youth. This was stated on the "112 Ukraine" TV channel by People's Deputy Anton Herashchenko.
"The tragedy that occurred in Lviv is not a spontaneous situation, it's a well-planned action involving Russian special services. Today, we understand that two leaders of this youth organization were recruited via the Internet. They thought it necessary to organize attacks not only on Roma people, but there were plans to attack Jewish organizations in Lviv," Herashchenko said.
In his opinion, the main task of the attack is to show that a xenophobic organization operates in Ukraine.
"The task was to show that a xenophobic organization operates in Lviv, which on the basis of racist views shows its hatred of representatives of some nationalities," the People's Deputy noted.
We recall that on the night of Sunday, June 24, on the outskirts of Lviv, a group of teenagers wearing masks attacked the Roma camp, as a result of which a 24-year-old man died, three more were injured. The police opened a criminal investigation of the murder and several other articles of the Criminal Code.
All weapons were seized from the scene. Soon it became known that among the detained teenagers - ten pupils from three Lviv schools.
In total, the police established 14 suspects.
Let's note, the SBU does not rule out that Russia may be behind the attack on the Roma in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry commented on the attack on the Roma camp and expressed outrage, and a representative of Roma organizations said that the Roma would not "revenge" for what had happened.
At the moment it is known that eight of the suspects in the attack near Lviv were arrested for two months, and the organizer of the attack on the Roma camp reported suspected of murder.
